Four out of ten Britons would be prepared to give up sex if it meant they could live to be 100, according to a new poll.
Almost half of the women asked in the Bupa survey said they would take up celibacy to reach the milestone .
However, only 31% of men said they would be prepared to sacrifice nookie for a telegram from the Queen.

This restaurant does not say what it is called, but it has hit upon the marketing idea of the decade. No need to get up here, your seat IS a toilet. It's up market and plush - with a flush.
Thankfully, the food is not crap at all, and the bills certainly are not for those on a budget. I am so very tempted to just roll out the puns, but I'll leave that to you, dear reader.
So...what should the place be called?
The other thought that occurs is, what other things should we sit on in restaurants?
British firm Moixa are marketing a new concept in batteries, the USB cell. The concept is a simple one - no need for a charger, just plug these little wonders directly into an available USB socket on your games console or computer and let them re-charge. Once they're “cooked”, flip the caps back on and use them.
Not only in AA size, they already exist in 9V PP3 power pack size and are soon to be available in AAA size with a mini-USB connector. Not only that, but they are developing re-chargeable batteries for mobile phones so that you no longer have to remember to take a charger along with you on business trips or holidays.
The cost is a bit steep at £13 for two AA cells, but that is sure to come down once the concept catches on.
I think this product could well be a winner, but my ultimate dream of a radically longer battery life may still be some way away. As I have said before, a laptop battery lasting properly for 12 hours is my dream. I sit awake at night and dream of that. Oh yes - wouldn't that be great?

Murder suspect: Goat turned into corpse

LAGOS, Nigeria --A Nigerian murder suspect accused of killing his brother with an axe told police investigators he actually attacked a goat, which was only later magically transformed into his sibling's corpse, officials said Thursday.
The man, whose name wasn't released, offered police his explanation after his arrest on Tuesday in the death of his brother the previous day at Isseluku village in southern Nigeria.
“He said that the goats were on his farm and he tried to chase them away. When one wouldn't move, he attacked it with an axe. He said it then turned into his brother,” Police Commissioner Udom Ekpoudom told the Associated Press.
Murder suspects in Nigeria, where many people believe in black magic, sometimes claim spirits tricked them into killing. In 2001, eight people were burned to death after one person in their group was accused of making a bystander's penis magically disappear.
“In El Salvador's Maximum security prison, four inmates were found to have cellphones in their anal cavities.”
So said a report I read a while back. I suppose the idea was to enable them to make calls whilst in prison. Goodness knows how they would have recharged them. Andyhow, I digress. Imagine my surprise when I discovered the X-Ray which gave them away:

So anyway, the vac had been losing its suction. A little at first, and then finally quite seriously. This, despite numerous emptyings, trappings and probings.
Being a Dyson, we knew this was literally not possible, so we were almost succumbing to the notion that it might be faulty. However, in one last desperate bid to sort it out, TL decided to probe the innermost parts of our suction device.
To say that this approach was successful would be something of an understatement. Almost anything would be something of an understatement.
Finally, the clear up. The contents of this dust pan represent roughly one quarter of the stuff that TL removed from the Dyson.
The Garden is covered in dust, the kitchen is covered in dust and there is a good scattering of dust around the house, and on TL for that matter. There is also a fair amount of sneezing going on. Still, all in a good cause.
We now have a fully working vac.
Now - how should we suck up all that mess?
