That's how it feels, living here right now.
During the evenings, at weekends in particular, I prefer not to show my face outside my own front door.
There is shouting in abundance, a constant cloud of cigarette smoke and an intimidating atmosphere generated by many drunk and, most probably, unhappy people.
As a background I can put up with it, but the volume can suddenly climb radically as two or more people scrap verbally, or worse. Then there are random crashes and bangs, which cause me to peer out the window to see if our cars are OK.
I hate constant feeling of nervousness, coupled with my inability to get to sleep properly till it has finally died down for the night.
I've never had to deal with this level of disturbance outside my window before, and I have no desire to deal with it for any longer. I pray that we will have the opportunity to leave here as soon as possible.
Yesterday would do just fine.
Yes, do pray, or give us a very lot of money. Yeah, OK, just pray then.

Complain to the magistrates court it is against the terms of their licence to allow that to happen.
Get the people next door and across the road to do it too. Then I will complain, and I will get others to complain....

Think praying will do more than complaining. I would say the people of Newbiggin who frequent the pubs near you are like pretty hard. Like, don't cross them.
Hope your prayers are answered very soon.

Pray by all means - complain by all means - but the thing that will make you feel better is to start packing and move - anywhere has to be better, yes?
