Who can deny the indomitable spirit of these two crazy lasses?
TL and myself took a ride down to Blyth today, both to eat fish and chips and to have a little look at Blyth Beach. The dinner was pretty good, and the sight of two crazy girls heading off into the north sea was as troubling as it was entertaining. The girl in white got soaked right up to her knees, but the pink one managed to avoid significant splashing.
There were many people on the sea front on this windy day - many more than I expected, and they all appeared to be enjoying themselves. It was a nice friendly atmosphere. Not even a sniff of illegal drugs. I'd quite like to know what the concrete runway is for. Perhaps some sort of punishment?
As we left the beach area, we wandered through some new beach front seating areas - all very artistically done and with bucket-loads of lottery and EU investment money, I'll warrant. This is part of a wise saying, painstakingly carved into the back of the quality wooden seating.
Someone had even tried to correct it with ball-point pen. Ah well.
In one way I wish things like this didn't annoy me so much, but they do.

Yes, basic typographic skills and a dictionary would have solved it.
BTW - The concrete runway was built to accommodate alien craft as they approached, and possibly wanted to land at Blyth....for some reason...perhaps on a spell-checking mission?
