Some things can be so very illusive.
You know that moment when you have something on the tip of your tongue, but cannot quite remember it?
It's horrid, isn't it? I feel so silly when caught in that trap. I know I know it, but it simply will not come to mind - so I stand there slapping my sides and wagging my finger in frustration, looking like some sort of indecisive schoolteacher.
Well, it happened to me yesterday, but worse than normal. I tried the technique of requesting the answer and then leaving the subject alone in expectation of an answer.
I think it worked /too/ well.
Today, I not only do not have the answer, but cannot even remember what it was that I forgot.
It's a sort of twin-pronged nagging “deja forgetfulness”.
Do /you/ know what it was? (I know it's a long shot)

I Just LOVE the picture above. Maybe joy is like these cut wild flowers in the palm of a hand. Great the first day, but gradually fading, till all we have is the memory of joy.
Other random questions that have whizzed by my brain today:
If something great happens, is it OK not to be wildly happy?
Is it wrong to want the security of knowing a little of the future?
How many people actually handle uncertainty well?
I'll be disappointed if any of you try to answer these questions.
I know where you are coming from and feel the same right now.
I am not trying to answer just empathise.

I will not attempt to answer, but I will say this that the pretty flowers don't stay pretty for the whole day in the palm of your hand, in fact, they wilt and die very quickly.
