Weather:
Very warm and sunny. I know you are keen to know the weather. Very British, very interesting.
Mood:
Work continues at a great pace. It's all go. I worry I'll run out of steam, but it hasn't happened yet.
Enjoying:
Cooking for the gathering tomorrow night. It's fun cooking nice things to be enjoyed by a few people. The event, of course, is the Eurovision song contest, which is now tomorrow night.
Micro-Rant:
Today is not a day to rant.
The world is not such a bad place, and many of the people in it are fairly nice. I like some of them a lot, and I love a few. Perhaps we should spend more time seeing the good in others instead of constantly looking for the bad things.
Bad things like speed cameras. Companies that never apologise. Officials who lie and mislead. People who abuse power, and McDonalds.
Next nice thing:
The Eurovision song contest is tomorrow night.
We have a few friends coming round, and so we are using it as an excuse to cook far too much food, buy lots of drink and spend an evening laughing at....erm.....well just about everything.
Laughing, except we take it all so very seriously. There will be much marking and compilation of marks onto the big scoreboard next to the TV.
So, great fun - but almost inexcusably sad.
Now an item to which the answer is always 89%: 89%
Pain: 87%
Other comments:
Perhaps I should stop writing this blog and get on with some music for an actual living client?
Yes, that is what I will do. I'll do it right now. Mmm....but maybe a coffee first. Then watch the news headlines. Then write a DVD....oh, and then make dinner....
Even writing this has become prevarication....
Oh, and a pie!
Mmm...pie.
