**WARNING - Use of wistful imagery ahead. Proceed with caution.
This morning reminds me of the sort of morning one hopes for after a few burning hot days in summer. After the sweaty, humid heat, I always yearn for a cooler, fresher day, with moisture in the air and a bit of a breeze.
Whilst we have had a fair amount of sunshine, I don't think the weather is really in this category at the moment. It has not been insufferably hot - thank goodness.I suppose this merely confirms my postulation that the weather is in demo mode - waiting for someone to put a coin in and choose a season.
The weather today....literally with water droplets hanging in the air, barely falling, reminds me of mornings spent as a child in the Lake District. It was magical then.
Two important points here:
1) This is a view of our neighbour's garden because ours is a total embarassment.
2) Ours ends in a busy street. :-(
Thanks for dropping by.
