Weather:
Very windy, but bright.

The house feels cold because we downscaled the heating when it went mild a day or too ago. The wind blows down the main chimney in quite an intimidating way.

Mood:
Well, you know what they say - "Good days, bad days." It's possible this will not be a good day. I would be delighted to be proved wrong.

Enjoying:
My treasured bottle of newly declared unsafe Dasani water. :)

Micro-Rant:
It would be so nice if people would ring before they turn up without warning. It's lovely to see them, but five minutes warning would be wonderful, and make me able to make them much more welcome.

Next nice thing:
Well, it's still the party tonight. Although, I am barely in the mood.
