OK, I did it. I put the extended reel up for you to listen to while I am away.

It' pretty much everything we've put out since we started in May.

So, enjoy all the old stuff, and I look forward to creating loads of new stuff on my return.

The specially trained team of ex-SAS guards living here while we're away have kindly promised to check on the station and keep it running. Let's hope they know what they're doing.

Feeling grumpy?

We're having a bit of a  “Grumpy old men/women” night this Wednesday - so write in with the stuff that really gets you annoyed.

For example - We were near the end of a box of matches the other day, and the strip that is used to strike the match was worn out. Now - didn't there used to be a strip on BOTH sides of the box? Why take the other strip away when we clearly need it.  Sheesh.

OK, I need to calm down now.

Peas Peas Peas Peas

What could be more delightful than an evening themed around Peas?

I suppose the problem is that precious few songs have been written about peas, unless you include “The Black-Eyed Peas” - which I don't, because they are a band and we are looking for song titles.

So.... we have three nice pea songs, including this one pictured above “Goober Peas”. So please write in and tell me what you think “Goober Peas” really are - I have the answer ready here. I would love to offer a small prize for this - but what could I give you that you haven't already got?

We also have our new game - the Phrase Maze ready to roll. How does it work?

OK, we're looking for a short sentence made up of ONE word from each song title of a few songs, which we'll play.

So, if we played:

I will survive
Woman in love
All I need is you

The answer would be:  “I love you”

Story Time

Well, we did it!

Finally.

Story Time went out near to 4.30pm, but it was dreadful. My sound output went completely wrong on the Mac which plays the tunes,leaving no sound at all.

I fiddled around and managed to get a feed from the headphones socket, complete with a nasty buzz. It was just horrible, but I soldiered on.

After a break for tea, I had a proper go at fixing the problem and got the proper sound working again - so I decided to re-do the show.

So, what you hear on the loop-back is version 2 - version 1 has been deleted, and rightly so.

Anyway - do you know what the story is?  Can you write it out in a single paragraph?
