My Letter to Non-Christians

Dear Friend,

I’ve been wanting to write to you for a while now, but it’s been hard to find the time - and even when I have, I haven’t been sure what to say to you.

I know that you know I am a Christian, but I’m not sure you understand what I mean by that. The thing is, I don’t want to get into defending what I believe, because God really doesn’t need me to defend Him.

Maybe the best I can do is tell you a little bit about why I believe, and leave you to ask any questions you have. I hope that’s OK with you.

Simple stuff

John spoke about walking with God on sunday.

It was a great message, with a great many words in it, but I was left with only a few in my memory. It's about the bedrock of a walk with God.

1. Read the bible
2. Pray
3. Meet with other believers for fellowship

Makes it sound easy doesn't it?

Maybe we do overcomplicate it with rhetoric about spiritual warfare and various doctrinal struggles. Well, that's my bit of inspiration this week - read the bible and pray.
